What is Gallbladder ?
The gallbladder is a pear-shaped organ in your abdomen. It stores about 50 ml of acidic liquid (bile) until the body needs it for digestion. That liquid helps digest fat. The gallbladder is about 7-10cm long in humans. It is dark green in color because of the bile in it. It is connected to the liver and the duodenum by the biliary tract.

Gallbladder is removed through small holes from 0.5cm to 1cm with the help of telescopic view.

How do you proceed with the treatment?
Generally patients are routinely tested for anesthetic fitness before operation . Mostly admitted to the hospital on the day of surgery on an empty stomach and 8 hours post surgery allowed to drink and eat gradually. Discharged the next morning.
